Thank you so much for attending our Inaugural Award Dinner, a night of gathering with old friends and making new ones. It was a wonderful evening celebrating the work of Abigail Disney and hearing her personal stories about the value of documentary film as a path to encourage empathy and understanding.
Your support ensures that we can continue exhibiting a range of new and repertory documentary films, around which diverse community members, artists, scholars and activists engage in meaningful dialogue and action. Our students learn to find their voices and advocate for their communities thanks to your generosity.
It also helps to support events like our Award Dinner, in which we can honor outstanding work in the field, celebrate the Maysles legacy, and seek continued support from our community.
