S. Pierre Yameogo, 2003, Burkina Faso, 1hr39 min
In Moi et Mon Blanc (Me and My White Pal), Serge Bayala plays Mamadi, a black foreign exchange student in Paris who works as a parking attendant. He develops a friendship with white co-worker Franck (Pierre-Loup Rajot). When they get caught holding the evidence of a drug deal gone bad, they take off for Mamadi’s home country of Burkina Faso. This light-hearted satire won the RFI Audience Award at FESPACO in 2003.
