One Day Super 8 Filmmaking Workshop: Shoot, Process, and Project!

10am-5pm followed by a screening party at 6pm  

Learn to shoot, process and project Super 8 film at Maysles during this day-long intensive workshop led by Mono No Aware. During this workshop, participants will learn about the anatomy of motion picture film, and working in pairs will compose a short film on Super 8mm, that will be edited in camera.  While you are out shooting, MONO & Maysles will build a pop-up lab so that you can learn basic chemical reactions and process a positive image for projection! Finally we'll build a projection reel and invite friends / family to the cinema for a special screening promptly at 6 pm.
