At the outbreak of the Second Congo War (1998-2003), two Rwandan soldiers are accidentally left behind in the jungle as their army advances westward across Congo. One is a seasoned sergeant and the other a young private. With only each other to count on, they embark on an odyssey through hostile territory and face the depths of their own souls.
