Filmmakers Collaborative for Adults II: Production

Following up on the success of our introductory producing course Story Development and Fundraising, the Filmmakers Collaborative for Adults II – Production is an 8-week, hands-on course covering all aspects of documentary production including accessing subjects, the art of vérité filming, camera and sound recording, cinematography, and lighting techniques. Students will be introduced to mapping locations, releases and permits, learn how to operate professional video cameras and audio, aesthetics of camera work for documentary films, vérité documentary shooting, best practices for multi-microphone shoots, essential of lightings, handling existing media.
Recommended for students who have taken our Filmmakers Collaborative for Adults: Story Development & Fundraising. No previous knowledge of production required.
