Wakanda In Harlem is a critical film review of the first blockbuster Black Panther movie as told by veteran members and children of the original Black Panther Party. This is a Safiya Bukhari-Albert Nuh Washington Foundation produced benefit film to free wrongly-convicted 70-year-old veteran Black Panther political prisoner, Kamau Sadiki, who remains unjustly held in a Georgia prison hospital.
Featuring other veteran members of the original Black Panther Party and the Harlem community, the film speaks to both the first Disney/Marvel Panther movie and "the real hero" Black Panther freedom fighters who are still in prison.
Before you go see Marvel’s second Black Panther film, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, come to the NYC premiere of Wakanda In Harlem, a real Black Panther Party produced film!
