Join us for the book launch of A Continuous Struggle: The Revolutionary Life of Martin Sostre, the first biography of the revolutionary political prisoner who laid the foundation for contemporary abolitionist struggles and Black anarchism. The program will include a special screening of the short documentary which helped secure Sostre's clemency in 1975, FRAME UP! THE IMPRISONMENT OF MARTIN SOSTRE (1974) by Pacific Street Films, to be followed by a discussion with the book's author, Garrett Felber, organizer and writer Derecka Purnell, and Maysles' executive director Kazembe Balagun.
