Who has the chance to share their voice/stories to the world? YOU!
The Van Lier Fellows at Maysles Documentary Center want you to share your unique perspective on your community in this bustling city in our first youth-run showcase. As the future faces of New York, we want you to bring life to creative pieces that represent who you are in these places. “Community” can mean identity, neighborhood, culture, or any group of people.
We’re looking for:
- Diverse documentaries ONLY
- Films made by 15 - 19 year-olds
- Films completed between 2014 - 2016
- Maximum Length: 10 Minutes
- Submission Deadline: February 13, 2017

- Exceptional Cinematography
- Exceptional Story
- Exceptional Editing
